Gentlejim, I totally disagree with what you said. Would you say that teenage fatalities is less of a problem today then 1988 when the law was made? Where do you get these articles from? The law against alcohol during the prohibition era didnot stop adults from drinking alcohol in the USA , why do you think that it would stop teens. When last have you gone to a college Frat party on a weekend? Common sense will tell you that government cannot make laws to change people's behavior . It's doesn't work that way.
Knenagh. I agree totally with your point. It's not the law that we should focus on but the culture that encourage teen to drive after drinking .
In the Caribbean where I grew up alcohol is cheap but because it's a part of the diet alcohol poisoning and road fatalities is almost non - existent. You would expect to find countries with easy access to alcohol to have the most problems but it's not the case.
Flyjames, I agree with you . Trees are very important because they absorb carbon dioxide and produces oxygen. They shelter us and animals. There good reason to cut down a tree but we should replant a tree for every tree cut down.

The internet has definitely change human interactions. There are many pros and cons here.
Years ago we would be satisfied with visiting friends or have friends over to chat. Today , the iPhone and iPad via the internet have replaced physical contacts.
The consequences for the drastic changes human interactions will be both negative and positive.
Condemning the internet is stupid but one should balance internet activities with physical contacts.
