Thank you for your message. My dream is to start my own small radio station in South Africa (SA) or in another country. There are many colleges who provide courses in the radio industry in SA but it is pointless to do a course in radio if you can’t get work in SA in the radio industry. I am a full time student at a college and I am busy studying towards my qualifications in the IT field at this moment. My objective is to do a few courses, in radio, after my full time studies, over the weekend. The radio courses will help me to get to my dream.
Thank you for your message. I tried many times before to apply for work at radio stations, but it is very difficult to get work in South Africa due to affirmative action. Your contacts at radio stations is the best option. It doesn't matter who you is, it does matter who you know.

I would like to enter the radio industry in South Africa but it is very difficult to get into the radio industry especially if you don't know people in the radio industry. What did you do in your radio station? Were you the owner of the radio station? The radio stations in South Africa don't allow the public to visit them because the radio stations do get a large number of requests for site visits.
At this moment, unemployment in South Africa is very high. Radio stations do pick the best when it comes to recruit new staff members. People who don't have any experience in the radio industry don't get work in the radio industry except if you have contacts.
The reason for the post or blog was just to talk with a person who do work for a radio station. I don't have any friends who is working for a radio station.
