I have never been to the west...but this does not mean that I have no idea about the west,it's economic prosperity,prevailing rule of law overthere. but Here the discussion is all about family system,respect and care to the different forms relations the people share like wife-husband relationship,parents- kids relationship etc.All these relations are in very weak form in west.everyone is crying and demanding for his rights,liberty,independence and demands regardless the impact(bad) it would have on the society.honestly speaking I donot want such independence and freedom which destroys the social structure of a nation. Sure westerners have far better life standard than eastern people but having better living conditions do not guarantee a better social structure.how many incidents are there in west of serial killers,firing in schools etc.This psychological disorder clearly reveals the social disturbances the people facing in west.
One thing more I would like to add.I think it does not matter whether thier family members come to see them or some of them are also paying for the services they get at the shelter homes..The question arise why these shelters for senior citizens were being built..what was the need for it...either there is no space for them in their homes to live with their grown up kids or they are no more useful for the society and were being confined to such shelters.where in east they are the king of their families,highly honoured inside the home and also in the society..these are called norms and values and also the strong family system,i was talking about.
Kaetchenyonhn Life is never perfect and ideal any where on this planet.some people in east try to migrate to west for economic benefits and prosperity rather for initiating and raising a family there...They will always love thier culture first..
It's crystal clear I think.I opt for #2 ... strength of character...all other traits to a person are supportive one in nature to make a man perfect...leading factor should be strong character to gauge a man...
