RE: Dance Of The Soul

Great blog title. You're profile name is great too. Anybody with a creative streak gets kudos in my book! I hate how you can't edit your blogs after thier posted. I guess I should preview mine more before posting for good. lol I find so many errors in my own stuff it drives me bonkers!sigh

RE: HOW TO TREAT A LADY

You know, I used to live in a house with four guys. When they got together and I was in the room (apparently invisible) they started talking such trash about girls they knew. How is it being respectful to be nice to a girls face and then talk trash about them behind thier backs?

Maybe that's not what you were saying but it's the vibe I got from your "it's best to be a punk in the sight of a man and make a lady happy." Perhaps you meant since you're respectful of women at all times guys view you as a punk. That could be what you're saying, in which case, forgive my earlier paragraph. rolling on the floor laughing

I completely agree with your statement "anything you expect of a person you have to be the same." I take it further than just conversation though. I tell myself and others that whatever you're looking for in a date/partner/spouse you had better be the equivalent yourself.

If you've dropped out of high school and are looking for someone with a PhD you're going to be sadly dissapointed. If you want someone with a ripped body but you're a couch potato and have a spare tire, you're going to be sadly dissapointed. Etc..etc...be who you want to date is my opinion. blushing

RE: KERRY V DUBLIN

In response to your question on my post about 'manscaping' the term was coined to describe a man keeping his private areas trim, neat, and well groomed...landscaped. laugh I think it's a funny slang term myself.

RE: No Baggage!

I love the line from one of the songs in "Rent" where the woman says life is too short, she's looking for baggage to go with hers.
I couldn't agree more. You will never find someone that doesn't have some kind of baggage. I like to say I try to keep mine to carry on size. :D I'm simply looking for someone who's baggage goes with mine.

RE: Single ?

Interestingly enough, one of my friends and I were having a conversation about this very topic earlier today. She's not happy in the relationship she's in and wishes she had more "alone time" or "free time" and thinks that being single again would be great. I told her that sure, you could go a year or two after a long term relationship and feel as free as a bird a love it...but I guarantee that sooner or later, when the lights are out and you're alone in bed...you start wishing you weren't single and that you had someone to warm up next to every night. Maybe it's a girl thing, maybe it's not. I know that having someone to talk to about stupid stuff and know that they honestly care and want to be a part of my life, that's something I dearly wish I had back. The drama and pain of trying to make a relationship work in this day and age? I could definately live without that...but I miss having someone in my life.

RE: thought for today..

oh, that's a good one. I like that. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: I want to play a game

Hm. Not quite sure what the game is...but I certainly know that people write like that all the time! I mean, I had to suffer through "Zen and the art of Motorcylce Maitenance" in a freshman college English class and that was pretty apathetic in my opinion. cool
