There's a lot of women in the same boat Johnny. I've met a few tied down with kids, little money, no prospects, shabby accomodation and the whole family is dysfunctional or in trouble with the law and in serious debt. Irocnically, it's some of these that think that someone will take them out of all this drudgery and give them the life they crave. To those of us fellas who have been through divorce, emotional turmoil, court disputes over kids, and other divorce issues we don't neccassarily want what that type of relationship could potentially bring. I know its all circumstantial and a lot depends on the person themselves but I want to meet someone now who is not coming out of the back end of warfare with their ex husband and is having their house repocessed or being declared bankrupt or ther kids spend most of the night roaming the streets getting picked up by plod. I tired so hard once to be strong for a womwn in a situation like that but it wore me down. My nine year old boy is my priority so I try to make it clear that i'm not here to leap in to a pile of dung and start making it smell sweet again when more often than not, you get a kick in the teeth for your efforts. Of course.....all you ladies out there who disagree with this opinion can make yourselves heard and reply to the guys that have showed an interest in you.....or stay indoors and just keep avoiding any responses to your profiles. Either way.....I wish you all luck in your personal quest to find a partner, if thats what you are on here for. Stevie
Its all a bit hit and miss I think. Half the people on these sites just wanna chat and socialise. Others you may meet from time to time. Some are just so cautious and secretive I wonder why they bother to list themselves at all. I've had dates and had a few laughs.....but finding someone special...or the right one......could take a lifetime. When I come back in my next life I want to be genetically matched to the perfect match with me so I can spend more time doing the things I want to do with someone I really want to do it all with.
