BC, I have a friend who is going through hell and just stays with her husband cause of that reason. I can't imagine myself doing that. I feel sorry for her but I won't encourage her to leave her husband either casue maybe that would be worse. I have told her if she ever needs anything I will be there for her.

Ten, guess you were at an age to play around, maybe you shouldn't have been in a relationship while doing this. I don't think you loved her, you're only upset it was her that left you and not the other way around. Love is all around us, don't give up on it as it will hit you without warning.

Blue.. Life is a journey and it is love that makes that journey worthwhile. Why does love disappear for those we travel with through life? Can't we just move on and still love even knowing we aren't with them?
John, you were lucky to spend 40 years with the same person. I'm totally jelous. Do you really think someone would spend their lives with someone just for not living in poverty? would we sacrifice so much just for money? Now days women and men work plus children are both parents responsibility. What are we teaching our children if we live with people we dont respect or trust.
Hi Cat maybe its worth the try. Maybe its worth waiting and even though the basic stuff is gone that person gives us other things worth being around for. Do we have the right to be upset when it eventually ends? We read so many people that when things end blame the other person, when we already had realized things weren't right. Shouldn't we just be happy for the things that were shared.
