Interpretations......events, history. Just like art, religion and art are written by many different people. Each sees a different picture according to the climate of the times.
That is why religion can not be trusted, because they are only ideas coming from a point in history.
Meaning religion can be twisted by anything or anyone.
Hence cults and fanatics.
The only true thing to believe in, is that man must continue to be good and do the best he can towards his fellow man. That is if humanity is to survive. Without the idea of this we would not be where we are today.
Belief in god does not save us from anything, BUT IT HELPS PEOPLE COPE WITH EVERY DAY THINGS, AND IN DESPERATE TIMES WE SEEK SOMETHING WHICH IS MUCH STRONGER THAN THE HUMAN SPIRIT. Life would be a very dark place without the hope of god......who is seen as the ultimate source of love, goodness and spirituality.
People look for answers about life, Belief in god give us answers, reasons, when man cant find those answers in everyday life. Otherwise mankind would be very lost indeed. And I believe there would be more turmoil in the world if we didnt have belief in god and what god stands for.
