RE: old man send me message about love....

And he not rich to. I can't believe love like that

So, IF He is RICH, then it would be OK for your cousin to marry OLD MAN?

RE: Messages

"swf" is correct in many ways. Even if you've developed emotions (and expectations) for John, you've not met for 3-4 month and that fact would suggest that you are perhaps just good pen pals.

I don't want to sound harsh on you but even if He was on a date (totally unsupported by any facts) He still replied to you "latter". Do you think that He would interrupt His "DATE" to send you a message? I don't think so. Maybe He was with a friend, a Man or a Woman, introducing CS and reading/participating in a forum, may be that He was chatting with some Friend that He knew for a long time and have never told you about Him or Her.

In any event, before you "write" the conclusion, ask Him question(s). And get together with John as soon as possible if that is the direction that your hearth is telling you to take.

Best of luck to you

RE: America and other world....

OK, so they were (at least) nice Americans. They must have so many other qualities that they have kept you communicating with them for 2 months. I hope that you had a good time.

Your advise would be much better accepted by many if it is worded differently, or should I say, a bit more tactfully. Perhaps you could have been aware that the structure of overall high school education in the States does not put an emphases on Geography nor on other countries cultures, customs, habits, languages etc. Which is very unfortunate but it is slowly changing.

SOME Americans know a bit about Geography, and then some. For example, Lausanne is almost 3 times further away from Geneve then from Montreux, and Vevey is lovely village further down the coast from you. To some Americans Vevey is known as the place of Charlie Chaplin's last days and Chateau de Chillon is over 10 Centuries young, and still beautiful. Montreux is the place of famous Jazz festival and less known for it's Classical Music festival. And Lac Leman is still served by 8 paddle steam boats. BTW, Is good old Simplon still in operation? Google did not tell me (hahahahahaha) but you could.

I shall welcome your email anytime, with any questions or a personal comment. grin cool

RE: Being alone - Judging by appearances

Very nice Nena. It's perhaps in human nature to think that the grass is always greener on other side of the fence. So much for your g/friends talk.

I admire your sincerity. Many mature singles feel/think along similar lines but very few have a gut to admit it so openly.

Wishing you the best of luck in finding the right person to share your life with.

RE: Men are from Mars & Women are from Venus

Dear Freedom,
Generalization will get you nowhere. Except to meet the next Guy with "closed" mind that He IS the same as the one that obviously have hurt you. Past is past, one that have left you was not worth your love. Period, finito.
Move on, you are young enough and maybe, just maybe, the right Men - YOUR Men, is just a breath away. But HE will need your right attitude before he starts discovering beautiful you.
That's an American view of this European Man.
Let me know if this makes any sense to you. I would be curious.

RE: moving on...

Welcome, and have a lot of fun. Being free, CS is not anymore risky
then any of those which cost an arm and a leg in fees, so do not worry. This is GREAT site where you can meet great people from all over. Good luck in your new beginning.

RE: Iam lonely is anyone else lonely?

Donnababy, become a member of a social group, in your church, parish or just any group, Salvation Army for example, became volunteer somewhere, BECOME ACTIVE, time goes faster, offer helping hand in a school, or with older people, MEET PEOPLE, become useful and helpful, help others to help yourself. And you will make new friends, even someone special.
Change your hair style, apply new make up, put a smile on your face and chin up...tomorrow in new day in your life. Come on Girl, you can do it... and keep us posted how are you doing.

RE: Aonther Birthday.......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
