RE: Cartooning-Artwork or rubbish?

Art comes in many forms -- cartooning is one of them. Too many people think of art in a narrow, constricted window -- the kinds opens to museum rooms or can be bought at $10 a print in WalMart. No so. The renaissance costumes I make are art. The shape of the stones around my garden is art. My humble pen and ink work is art. My best friend's political sculpture is art. Cartoons are a part of our culture, and animation is an extension and evolution of that. If someone dares to say that isn't art, consider the source. Some people can't see beyond themselves and their pre-conceived notions; as an artist, you have the ability to "imagine" and envision the possibility that is all around you.

RE: Stopped for a moment

Sometimes a good scream is part of the treatment and the healing, just as a good cry can be a refreshing release. It means you are alive. Fighting. Feeling. I think about you each day, seek out your wonderfully written blogs, and send healing wishes your way.

RE: Forward motion

My thoughts and healing wishes are with you.

RE: Book Two

RE: A National Discussion

Well spoken.

As an activist and writer, I have worked for and lobbied for many issues on behalf of those constitutional rights.

We have a responsibility to vote from our conscience, and to hold those we elect accountable for their actions. We have a responsibility as citizens to preserve and protect our constitutional rights from foreign and domestic infringement.

If a citizens is not involved in our governing processes; they cede any right to complain about the outcome.

RE: Furball has been re-homed.

I am currently attempting to find a new home for the rescued cat currently living with me. It's a tough job finding that 'right" person or family. So I am holding out, buying extra allergy meds, and waiting...I refuse to send Franklin to the pound or any play that could ultimately euthanize him. You are wonderful to have taken such care with your buddy...
