true many birds do sing at all hours of the night, some birds sing because their internal clocks tell them to, especially if you live near a time zone, for some birds it might be 5 am, but your clock says 3 am, and also many will stop singing by 5am or 6 am, so its normal. here in california i used to have an owl, HOOT all night, wonder what happend to him? i think he died.
