RE: Outer beauty and inner beauty for women

Some people, both men and women, are blessed with beauty...and some are blessed with the finances to make themselves beautiful . Regardless, there are those beautiful people who are who they are from the inside out. Sometimes, men see a beautiful woman and they AUTOMATICALLY assume she is arrogant, high-maintenance, or self-absorbed. Yet, many times the opposite is true. She is intelligent, intellectual, and most important humble, a quaint quality I happen to love and possess Do I believe myself to be beautiful? Of course, I do have a mirror, but I don't focus on that. Most of my friends and family characterize me as intelligent, empathetic, and compassionate. That is who I am, beauty is just what is seen first .

Home "Ain't Always Sweet" Home

With all due respect Drea, it's very different here. In America, I was in a socioeconomic position that rendered me little respect or chance for promotion. Here, in Budapest, I am able to blossom into the person I want to be. Yes, do people look and stare at me because I'm black here as they did in the U.S.? Yes. Did I experience a period of depression and isolation when I arrived in Budapest? Yes. Was I and am I tempted to just go back "home"? Yes. Yet, here the drive and motivation I have is nurtured. That is the difference between here and home. At almost every opportunity back home someone found it necessary to tell me what I couldn't do, or to explain the utter impossibility of any dream or ambition I had. Here, I'm expected to do great things. I have and I will.

RE: favorite thing

I like the fact that you can meet people you might not otherwise had the opportunity to meet . I don't like the fact that this anonymity can work against you if there is a con artist after you; some people disguise their true intentions and actually make you believe things about them that are not true. People do this all the time in "real-lfe"; however, with CS you can hurt someone and then just delete your profile and create another to escape the consequences of your actions . But, overall, I believe it is a great way of connecting with other like-minded individuals .

I agree. That is why you have to just live. Take me, for example, I am a black American, single-mother currently in Hungary (for the past 2 months). So many people either expect little of me or discourage me from doing what I believe I can do. Yet, I do it anyway. Why? Because this is MY life and no matter what anyone says, does or THINKS about me, it's MY LIFE...my choices, my decisions, my consequences, my happiness. Vipone, this is YOUR life, all you have to do is make the decision to live it. God bless.
