We need productive hard working people, not lazy bums looking for a way to milk the system. That is the problem. Too many unproductive people. Those that are responsible are only having a child or two, and those that are irresponsible are breeding at a much higher rate. Your intentionally feeding the rats. don't complain when they over take the house.

RE: Excerpts from Blogosphere, I

I'm not going to pretend I understand what the traders do, but I know enough to know speculation is a factor, but ultimately it's consumption and currency valuation that prices oil.

I'm a simple guy, but I own and operate a one man trucking company. I set my own rates. I understand all about supply and demand forces and the effects it has on pricing. Huge fluctuations. It's the free market. If you understand it and learn it, you can capitalize on it. The profits "draw" people like me into the market to fill a "need" that is there. It's a GREAT system. And it works! How can you deny it works, look around! You get to choose what you want to do! How can it get any better then that!? You can do anything you want!yay

RE: Excerpts from Blogosphere, I

If they are allowed to keep what they earn, guess what, there are those that will work harder and smarter to acquire more. That is how "innovation" is brought into our lives. Guess what, that is how our standard of living improves. We all end up benefiting from the man who invented the tractor. Not just the inventor of the tractor.... What is so wrong with a man working hard and smart and keeping what he earns? Sounds like jealousy to me.dunno

RE: Excerpts from Blogosphere, I

Human behavior 101. People will take the path of least resistance, just like water. If you give them a reason not to work(hand outs), guess what, they won't work. If they are forced to work to survive, guess what, they work.

Little red hen story, I'm telling you....good reading for kids. Better then all that prince and princess nonsense.

RE: Excerpts from Blogosphere, I

Capitalism is alive and well in my life. I can assure you of that. It's regulation and over population that is chocking capitalism out along with people like the author who want to take away from those that have for themselves. Problem is, do you know what happens to people who win the lottery? It's something like 90% of them are broke in 10 years. That's because they are not smart enough to keep what they have. That is why the people that have, have. It's because they are smart enough to figure out how to have. You can't make people rich by giving them handouts. They have to learn how to earn it themselves. And then they need to be allowed to keep it. Sounds like capitalism?

I'm not sure of what examples your referring to, so It is hard to comment on your statement. Are you one of those that claimed we went to war with Iraq to steal their oil? I guess that worked real well. The price of fuel has gone up 250% since before the war. Is that from all the oil we stole?

RE: Writer & Reader

yes yes. No one can spill your guts for you.laugh

RE: Writer & Reader

lol....now you have me thinking. Maybe it is "I" will spill my guts, it's just that no one else can spill your guts for you....yeah, that's what it is. Now I really have you confused? You are more right then me. And it's my native language.confused

I will spill my guts. (right)

you can't spill my guts. (wrong)

But you obviously know the meaning to it. To tell all your secrets.

lolhandshake

RE: Excerpts from Blogosphere, I

No no no. Your assuming everyone who is allowed to keep what they earn is a thief and an exploiter of humans. Yes there has been some of that, and yes "we" have stole land and resources at times, who hasn't, show me the papers where god sold land, but the reason countries that employ capitalism have the highest standard of living is because we are allowed to keep what we earn. It forms a very powerful drive in a man. In nature we call it, "survival of the fittest". It ensures the betterment of nature, and in capitalism, it insures the betterment of people and it's societies. How do you think the USA excelled to be the biggest and the best so fast? Because we use our military power to steal? Give me a break. We give more hand outs they any other nation. You really think we're all thieves and that is how we did it? Hell no. It came from the drive of the human spirit, to keep what is earned. Freedom! The reason the poor countries stay poor is because an elite few don't allow competition(capitalism)(survival of the fittest). You take away a man's freedom to reap what he sows and he won't reap as hard, unless you have a gun to his head and that will only improve the life of the man holding the gun, the elite few.

Look at your history books. Countries with some form of capitalism don't have the highest standard of living because they are military bullies. Quite the contrary.

That author sounds like a jelious lazy man with no integrity who wants what another man has without having to work for it. And in this country, you can work with your brain if you choose too. Capitalism is all about freedom.

Yes, those less smart or less willing to learn, those less motivated will have less then others in a capitalistic society, but that is the way it should be. Ever hear the story of the little red hen who wanted to make some bread?

RE: Writer & Reader

"don't spill my guts". lol. No, you can say "don't spill the beans". You're close thoughbeer Or you can "pour your guts out".

Hope you don't mind me saying so...

I mess up with "your and you're" all the time. It's just me. It's not acceptable "bad English"....just so you know.

RE: Writer & Reader

Miss Emily is encouraging good behavior, that's all. She will make an excellent mother because of her brilliance. She will also make an excellent mother because of her physical beauty she is likely to pass on to her baby.

RE: Desert??

This woman knows better. Your not fooling me. You put a desert in the middle of the refrigerator, what is going to happen when you are hungry and open the door?

RE: Writer & Reader

OMG! jamil!? You found a shirthandshake

RE: To all the guys: Would you travel to meet your spe

It depends, when you go out on a hunt, you don't always know how far your journey will take you. You hope you can catch your prey as soon as possible and as close to home as possible, but the hunter's hunger will drive him as far as his body will take him to fulfill his need. I would love to find love in my back yard, but I looked and it's not there. If I thought the 'situation' was right, I would not let distance deter me from my desires.

RE: Listen Up Guys ;)

There is something just not right with this woman/profile. What's your deal blogger. You've set the bait, but for what? What are you up toconfused

RE: Desert??

After carefully giving this question some thought, the only conclusion I can come to is that 'you' have chosen the wrong man if 'you' become "desert".

I don't mean you, you, I mean 'you', as in any woman.
