It amazes me that people are much more concerned about other countries and their issues - than the fact that an entire ocean is being completely ruined and destroyed by dispersants and greed and ignorance ............
It makes me wonder if any of you who say this have ever been to the beach with your family to enjoy the critters at low tide, and the seals laying on the rocks etc etc etc
We are all hypocrites to various degrees, but it floors me to hear people actually stating "drill baby drill" when something as epic as this disaster is taking place
Thats a great observation Texas, and you're right - we all need to recycle everything we can ..........I just started being very careful what I buy and what I throw in the regular trash ....so yes, I am trying to make that part less impact as well
Actually, I have learned to wait to drive anywhere until I have multiple things to accomplish in one trip. And, I don't feel the need to drive to Costco just for saturday outings like many do..... But yes, I can and will cut back even more .......... But, that doesn't solve our dependence on oil usage - only a very strong movement to renewable and alterntive fules will do that
Does anyone else feel sick to their stomach - realizing we've ruined an entire ocean area by sinking the problem to the bottom and out of the public's sight ?
This whole disaster is gonna go down as mankind's biggest ecological blunder ! Anyone who coins the phrase "Drill Baby Drill" needs to be publically flogged !
