After watching the demonstrations near the proposed mosque site this morning ...it makes me wonder just how many Americans are truly ignorant prejudice a**hole ........
If you were a smart muslim - would you have been stupid enough to even show your face after the 911 attacks .....much less demonstrate ? Not all muslims are enemies of USA
Actually - this will make you feel a whole bunch better ...... The unemployment dept audited me and wants me to pay all the bebefits collected back because I am incorporated ...

How do know this ? Have they announced this on international television ? Are you possibly concluding something based upon your dislike for islamic or muslim terrorists ?
Thank you for that comment. It is likely that this mosque will be built elsewhere and we'll be moving on to th next similar issue. I have a number of friends around the world who have various religions and skin color.....and when I am with them - NEVER does the thought cross my mind that I would oppose living next door to them.
I am simpathetic to those who lost ones in the attack. Muslims were lost as well. People should always remember and have respect for what happened. I won't say that I'de be overjoyed to see that mosque built there too - had I lived there at the time. But this issue takes seeing a bigger picture. When the planes hit the towers I had tears rolling down my face - followed with intense anger. At the time it would have seemed appropriate to drop a few nuclear devices on Afghanastan for retaliation. But looking back - we as a nation have brought a lot of this upon ourselves. Our government was like a bull in a china shop with foreign policy. It's time to change that and attempt to compromise with global change and other country's ethnicity and religions etc.
