Not entirely true ...........sometimes they get into direct competition for a cure when they smell huge profits down the road ...... Look up Vertex , Roche, and the others working on a cure for Hepatitis C .......
What's really sad is that neither political party is exempt from being totally bought and paid-for by the big insurance companies ..........we're totally screwed and many of us simply will have to choose to risk not having insurance to keep our homes . Doing the math with 30-35% / year premium increases is a no-brainer ............
I seriously don't think the majority of Americans expect "free healthcare or insurance" But "reasonable rates for medical services and insurance premiums - they do desperately want and deserve ! People shouldn't have to pawn their homes in their senior years just to have healthcare ......
Ttom, we've tried it the right's way for the past eight years , we've tried to push reform ..and it was a miserable compromise , now it's gonna break every middle class family with the expense ! The only thing left is regualtion of the healthcare industry
Yea........combind that with the 26 percent increase again this year for my health insurance ( because no one will regulate them ) , and there's goes quality living in retirement years ...
Tell me then, WHY would anyone care what "their biased Polls" come up with ........especially when the Rebubs claim over and over "We heard what American's want " - only off their own twisted site ?

I definitely don't want to see Obama cross the aisle anymore ...in fact I would be pleased if he makes a point to never compromise with republicans on any bill for the remainder of his term.
Maybe Palin should go on Dancing with the Stars for a nite......it'll be one of her final contributions to our country before her flash in the pan stardome fades away .....
Only because the majority of Americans are truly ignorant - do they consider the opinions by poles that come from biased and payed for sites like Americans Speak Out .....
