The muslims knocked down the World Trade Center and now they want to put up a monument to their fallen "martyrs". They, the muslims, will tell you that they didn't approve of the attack but they were the only people who cheered when they came down when every other person were in disbelief. Knowing Liberal New York, they will allow the mosque to be built and I believe most of the people in New York will not be happy.

Maybe I am missing something, but is this not a very clear statement showing that America recognises that Muslims in general are NOT terrorists and have just as much right to their religion as Christians?
The majority of Americans on this site keep saying that they know only a small fanatical part of a breakaway Muslim sect are terrorists and the rest are just fine, so put your money where your mouth is

Riz...they want to build a mosque, 13 story's high and they say it's in memory of the 9/11 victims....that's the video anyway.
I've not researched nor read anything about it, but others feel it's true...although one say's it's a fake.

I have not read about this either apart from a quick reference via google, I can see both sides of the argument, especially if, as has been said, it turns out to be monument to the bombers rather than the dead, but should that occur, I have no doubt the the indigenous people of NY will find a way to destroy it. My initial view, with limited information, is that an olive branch is being offered to somehow rebuild the bridges between Muslims and non muslims, certainly I hope so
