russianbandit49: thanks friend.

You have to be choosy on who's posts you answer to. Make a list and just ignore the ones who get "offended" or give you a hard time.
It's like real life (it's worse, but for our purpose it'll have to do) you stay clear of the ones who deserve slaps and make friends with the cool ones, heh?cheers cheers grin

Just CHILL, friend. What's the sense of getting upset in front of a screen?
Sip your yummy hot coffee, eat your boudoirs (hope you have some, they're just great with coffee)put your tongue in your cheek (uh oh now that sounds nasty rolling on the floor laughing ) I mean take most things tongue in cheek and laugh!
I laugh out loud in my living room here!laugh

If you're not having fun here then you've missed the point of CS!

handshake yay

Well, you may not live in NYC but on September 11, 2001 along with every American from Maine to Hawaii you were an honorary New Yorker. New York is a part of your country, is represented by a star in the American flag and is one of the 13 states that is also represented by one of the stripes. A red stripe, like the color of the gallons of blood that was shed that day. Not a white one which is the color of surrender.

This is my answer to whoever attempts to stick a shovel in the ground to build a mosque at ground zero.

[/quot

Something to think about!

Since we seem to be at war with Islam, maybe we should open the WW2 internment camps for Muslins as we did with Japanese and Germans.
In light of the murders at Ft. Hood by a Muslim Officer (who had sworn to defend the people, our Constitution and the United States) this article becomes more timely and real than ever;

Can a good Muslim be a good American?

I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
The following is his reply:

Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia .

Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah
except Islam.

Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of
Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he
turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual
leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America,
the great Satan.

Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him.

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not
allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. Because when we declare “one nation under God,” the
Christian’s God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as
heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran’s
99 excellent names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation….perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both “good” Muslims and good Americans.

Call it what you wish….it’s still the truth.

But those Arabs who have killed, those guys who are continuing to kill American soldiers AREN'T Muslims.
Muslim don't kill people.
Muslims are brothers with every races and religions.

Those guys who kill hide behind Islam and give real Muslims a bad name.
Bin Ladden, if he actually was the mastermind behind 911 ISN'T a Muslim, and neither were those terrorists.

But until American can make the difference between a real Arab Muslim and a fake one, things won't improve.

Well that's the point! Their plans for invasion were too simple, so stupid and ill-organized that they themselves admit that they hadn't seen the insurgency coming.
Who was that Korean-looking general who said they actually needed 200,000 troops and he was shut out. Well, he was right!
How in the HELL did professional fighters think that they could just waltz into someone's country, occupy it and end up creating a "new government" without the population crying foul?
All that served the "insurgents" and helped the fanatics recruit Iraqi's against "the great Satan".
Or are we to believe that the Bush administration just didn't give a damn about the Iraqi population? Are we to believe that they didn't care about their young servicemen and women?
Looks like that to me.

dunno

It's more than an outrage. Perhaps we should build a Christian Church in Mecca and watch what happens.

In response to: This is an outrage.

Nah, it's just another scam.

There's not a "13 story mosque" in the world.
And there's certainly not any muslim group in the states with the money to build one.

It's just another scam to get people all excited and ready for another invasion or something.

Here in France where there are millions of muslims this kind of scam happens pretty often. (by people trying to hype up hatred).

Once a Russian mafia guy who owned a pub where my group played from time to time explained to me about a scam that he and his friends had done in a small town called Saint Chamond.
They started a rumor that a big mosque was going to be built near the town square. They even printed a legal notice in the paper describing the mosque and they obtained a building permit. Property values fell sharply in the area and they were able to buy up an entire city block for less than half the price it would have cost without the scam. Then they announced that the mosque project was canceled and resold the property.
They doubled their money.
