im hearing what your saying but i would highly recommend checking out the links i posted earlier. i do think its a much bigger problem than what your saying but that does play a part. ellen brown would explain it far better than i ever could. i whole thing is actually down to the fact, we stupidly handed our monetary control over to private financial institutions and they have no interest in serving us at all. in fact their interests is to make as much money, as quickly as possible on the backs of us all. our politicians are only assisting them in doing so by virtue of fear as far as i can see. ellen brown explains it better
im actually slowly coming to the conclusion that our whole political system is now defunct. it no longer truly serves us and you have to ask if it ever really did. i have a funny feeling, no matter who you put in there now, they cant change the system. this is deeply worrying if correct
i personally think democracy is in serious trouble here. on 5th of July the people of greece basically voted against further austerity measures. im glad their politicians listened! we re in trouble here folks. i would highly recommend the work of american economists ellen brown(post 15). shes the best ive found so far with explaining whats going on with all this. its very worrying stuff underneath it all but thankfully ellen brown includes possible solutions to it all in her work.
apologies, i only spotted your post now. i think us irish dont deal with mental health and behavioural problems very well but i can understand how these problems could drain a family. i actually think our mental health services and supports for families that are dealing with family members with complicated behavioural problems such as asperger's, are basically, dreadful. theres still a lot we dont know about these problems and it seems like to me, the general population tend to shy away from dealing with such complicated problems as, well, theyre just complicated to understand. i wish you the best with dealing with this problem
i have taken to searching for my bike brush as soon as i walk through my front door. generally dont come across the dog until im further into the house as she d probably escape if was in the hall
im just wondering, do people take any responsibility over their own happiness at all? people making others turn to drink? come on lads, we re all responsible for our own happiness and well being. life is what you make of it
infinite amount out there. personal favorites, mountain biking, walking, kayaking, swimming, gym, music, playing guitar, concerts, educating myself about how messed up our financial and political systems are etc. the list is really endless. go forth.
thank you for sharing. im dyslexic myself and can identify to some degree with your son. i wish you the best of luck with things. must be difficult for you and your family but thankfully he has a family that cares
yea id agree alright. its a tough interview to watch. hes struggling with it all and so would anybody in his position but fair play to him for talking about it. it not an easy subject matter but he has a very important story to tell about this subject. im afraid, we re all human and can change our opinions as life progresses. he could be still doing the job and regretting it more and more. at least he now knows, its not right to execute. it doesnt solve the problem. it only creates more problems. its a very typical human response and solution to a complicated problem of which, we probably still havent found a working solution for. back to the drawing board im afraid.
ah we aint bombing but we re errr emm 'helping the cause' just so we can get a few jobs here! we aint whiter than white im afraid. sure i use to work for a company that makes products for the american military, right here in good ould ireland. im sure theres plenty of businesses in ireland doing the same thing.
ah our banking system problems are a lot bigger than just france and germany. id highly recommend checking out american economist ellen brown:
you're pretty much hitting the nail on the head there but shush, that makes us westerners look bad! western created debt thats imposed on these countries also plays a big part, but as i said, dont mention that, we re whiter than white here!
id have to disagree with some members in saying ireland is a rich country. compared to where these migrants are coming from, probably yes but we re not rich in the way people think. we re actually rich in debt like most countries on this planet. unfortunately like most other countries, our priority is to serve these debts than actually use our money to do more important things like trying to deal with this migrant problem properly. since this is the way the world behaves, unfortunately more people will die during this process.
