Well Zee as I said in my earlier post, we exchange numbers with ppl we meet in RL and we probably havent chatted to them as much as we will have to someone we have been exchanging im and mails with. Thats part of the advantage of mobiles as opposed to home numbers.
I agree, is also nice to have a voice to put to that person also to be able to hear the nuances when we speak, humour or teasing do not often come across well in type.
I do think it should be a natural progression, to chat on the phone having established that you both want further contact.I dont give my home number but do give my mobile. After all if you meet someone when you are out for the evening and you get on well and want to see each other again you exchange numbers right?
Just home from shopping for school uniforms for my girls, is wet and miserable here not a day to have to go outside so not stirring for the rest of it.
how *____________* is it that i would receive mail calling me attention seeker, self centered and playing the victim after i post to release some sadness about my 15yr old pets being sickly and near death???
people can be a disappointment[/quote]
Yes they can hun.
Animals on the other hand dont let us down that way.
I know is hard to ignore it pet but that person is not worth getting upset over. Why dont they stand up and be counted in the thread instead of kicking you when you are down
Am not really one for using them much and drives me crazy to go into a thread and see that someone has posted only emoticons and not actually said anything.
