It's a great country to live in, other than the winters (for me), ut some people enjoy them, and some people actually enjoy them. The weather isn't all bad, some areas are quite mild, where others are as cold as anywhere else you'd find on the planet.
I like living here, it's a pretty decent quality of life overall, even though we're taxed fairly heavy, for what we get back. We have decent wages for the most part, so you can still survive comfortably, or if you really want to work, you can do very well.
I've met many people that come for a visit, and went back to their native country, sold everything and found a way to move here permanently. It's a nation of immigrants, and most are extremely happy to be here.
There are only a few reasons I'd ever leave, warmer weather being one, better opportunity being another, and someone with beautiful eyes and an alluring smile being the last. Otherwise, I'm quite content to stay, even if I do freeze half to death for half the year, every year.
Not really, I took it in school, but that was 25 years ago, forgotten most of what I learned. It's all trapped in there somewhere, just can't get it out.
I think he meant the scammers, but you never know, he may have meant ze Germans. If you're going to indsult an entire country, may as well make it one that can fight back.
I'm down about 20 pounds from where I was a little over 2 years ago, and I wasn't fat then either. No wonder I feel so cold during winter, no insulation.
I'd like to see their pay reduced and even witheld if they fail to deliver on their campaign promises. Possibly even prosecution and fines/jail time for the more severe cases.
The idea of going into politics should be to serve your fellow countrymen, not to take whatever you can get for as little effort as possible while in office. Not to mention the lying, cheating, and padding of pockets that goes on regularly.
RE: Greeting's from Sarkoland...
I should add, everyone should visit Canada at least once in their life, and not just Toronto or Montreal, although they are beautiful cities. There's life out west too you know.
British Columbia is the most beautiful of all the provinces overall, and if anyone wants to visit, just let me know.
