None of the guys I have liked have ever had a problem with my Doberman's.
They have been friendly. I also have 2 cats.
Though, my guy now, doesn't really like cats. But he knows I won't give my two up. We are part of a package. Just like he has 2 older children.

That is what I think, but I do remember one guy who had a problem with me being in a Doberman Rescue Group. He would say to me, (if I went to a Rescue event and saw my friends), why are they rescuing Dobermans and not a child?
I also at the time volunteered at a thrift shop where the money collected went to a shelter for abused women and children. I would tell him, I do both.
Then would say, it is not your business.
He was quite daft, he did not help children himself.
The last time I saw him was in my apt when he was standing next to my front door. He had started in again with me about why do you not do this or that? I opened the door and pushed him out. I said, that was it.

My ex said close to the same thing before we split. He was mad after the cats shedding and said, we are never having cats again. I said you know I love cats.
I said I will always have a cat so it's me and cats or nothing. I would not let him bully me.

No, he use to love one of the cats very much. It was the start of the end.

I know what you mean about loving your Dog. I love Wile the Coyote, Blue Doberman so much. I also love my 2 cat brothers, Piggy and Chewbacka.
