I have been thinking about that alot lately...I have met several people that I chatted with online, and found they were all as nice as they seemed to be online, but the chemistry is not a guarantee. I have to admit, I have been very surprised, because it is obviously much easier to judge personalities online than appearances..and have been rendered speechless a few times. I have fallen into infatuation online, and had it fizzle away within days after meeting someone in person or talking to them on the phone. I find that hearing someone's voice, talking, getting to know them, and then meeting them is a much better indication of how we will get along. Suffice it to say, it remains a mystery, and I am always intrigued by mystery....*grin*

I have a problem with people judging others by what's on the outside, and assuming that sums up the inside too....How many people are limiting their options by doing this, and all I have to say is, maybe they deserve to be alone....I am currently at an all time high as far as my weight goes....if that's all someone wants to see, then so be it...but if anyone wants to see the reality behind it, they would find out that I spent several years caring for a love who was dying, doing everything in my power to help him, quitting smoking, and watching him lose the battle in spite of everything in my power....now, I have the time to take care of myself so the weight will be a moot issue.....

I have always had a major problem with the honesty issue, but I keep trying and trying and trying...and I haven't given up yet....Still believe in fantasy at my age.....*chuckling*

Perhaps it's because it's safe....If you could have it, you would have to take action, make a decision, and get going.....Very difficult for many people!
