Anybody interested in life before birth experience?

I'm not sure how serious you are ..... but this is exactly why there is no prove. we'd have to change everything about ourselves and our way of living

Anybody interested in life before birth experience?

Hey You,
Thanks for stopping bydoh

I was referring to the actual research described by Mary Roach in her bestseller and one of the best books written in XX AC- 'Stiff'. When she was collecting material for writing about human cadavers she came across another research that was focussed on an unaccountable 3/4 of an ounce missing from the body after the death occurred.

I think it was very interesting that the university, where the study was conducted, was refused further founding to continue with their research.

I believe that these in power are terrified that they are going to start losing money when people stop being materialistic. Having a prove that there is life after and or before, would or may cause such a phenomenon and that is the only reason why there is no prove that we're more that just a physical body.

Responding to 4 icons chosen from a left side of my computer screen is rather silly and I'd know better. But, if not for any other reason than to see more of the icons - you can actually tell me which ones you want and I could post them for you and myself-there it is.

"EXPERIMENTS AT THE MOMENT OF DEATH, including photographs of a cloud-like substance leaving the body and detection of an immediate loss in weight."

I guess not. So let's try again.
There is a scientific prove that after death there is a small 'piece', call it a soul or a spirit, or god that is gone and can't be accounted for. In other words science proved itself wrong by measuring what is left after one dies and discovering that when all is added up, there is one thing that's missing.
So, what do you think? I'm counting to 10 and taking this thread down.

RE: IS THERE A GOD?

Excellent points and greatly appreciated. However, science calls itself objective in providing prove or disproving a hypothesis by testing correlation between the chosen variables. As you know, even physics struggle with providing an undeniable prove. Science does not acknowledge subjects like, for example psychology (I didn't want to say theology for obvious reasons) as a discipline of science, because an 'objective' hypothesis testing of in psychology, in the scientific understanding of an experiment, is close to impossible.
Science's have a lot of chances, choices, options, opportunities to test 'existence of god' but will not because this is not it's subject. The reason behind being it can neither be prove or disprove, according to science. So, I think that bringing the scientifical evidence to a theological discussion constitutes a form of cheating.

or am I talking after life experience .... these two could but shouldn't be confused.

RE: IS THERE A GOD?

Hey,
you summarized all what was said in a simple and gentle way. God is all what each one and all of us want it to be. The key point here: god is and I am, so are you.

RE: How do you persuade people?

Hey, thanks.
I meant it to be humorous as well and I failed. My daughter used to say: mom don't bother to be funny, your sense of humour is what most of us consider to be either the most serious or weird.
cheers!cheers

RE: How do you persuade people?

I'm not sure if views from an outsider would be welcome in Alabama, however, there are different ways of persuasion and most of the time they do work. The best way is the honest way and a straight forward question but if you have a 'got feeling' you're going to get 'no' for an answer you may try the following:
Let's say you want something either 'big' or of some value. You start from asking for something small and unrelated. You presented it the way that would give an impression it's either a kind gesture of yours to ask for it, or that it's not a request but a favour on your part to ask for it. After you get of what has no value at all, you ask for something bigger. Again when you get it you proceed to ask for something you really want. If you got 20 times 'no' it's likely then when you ask for the 21 time guilt would make the person to cooperate. In other words you work from down there up.

The opposite way is working from way up down to what you want. For example you may ask a person to give you their car. Of course she/he is going to say 'no'. If your intention is to get a ride by the time when you ask for it, it seems so small in comparison to your original request, that's it's likely you're going to get it.

I'm leaving out the matter of is it purgation or manipulation for you to decide. However, the above are well known socio-technical ways used mostly by sales companies, layers in divorce cases, unions, etc.

I hope this is useful.

RE: What's your Take On It?????

I think you made an excellent point. Posting someone's private information here serves no any other purpose than to vent anger and retaliation. If someone asks for money here or anywhere else it's either charity or other, socially unacceptable scam.
Don't give anything if you don't want to give. There is nothing 'noble' in a public warning that calls somebody else names.

RE: why older women dont accept young guy?

dunno
confused, I am.
I looked at my photo ratings and found that the men in my (more or less) age group rated my pic with lower scores than have the men in their 20's.

Gosh, I'm not so sure any more about my choices: a younger guy? who is attracted to me or a man my age who is going to look at younger women at our romantic dinner. Hmn?hmn
Maybe a younger one then; maybe one who doesn't type hihih - it looks like this is the only thing that really irritates me about him.

RE: Immegration, does it really work?

I have not mistaken the concepts. I wasn't responding to you but to THIS GUY:
