I agree with you on the point you made about how some people take pleasure in attempting to cut another person down. This man obviously is unhappy with himself, and is trying to make himself 'feel better' by insulting others. Too bad for him, I say. You know, the Block Button Option is quite handy for those types...

I would feel like it was really none of my business. The gifts were given in a previous relationship. I'm not insecure enough to be at all that concerned with material items that were given to someone in a prior relationship.
