How do you know my belief/faith is blind? Everyone has faith of some kind and belief in something. Even though my belief/faith is not the same is yours does not make mine blind. Would it be fair for me to say yours is blind? Of course not, because I have no proof just as you have no proof my belief/faith is blind.
What you wrote is very interesting. It's sad that people need proof in order to have faith, that they need proof in order to have salvation. I praise God and thank God each day for the cross, for His son Jesus Christ, for the plan of salvation that is now mine.
I have been on CS for some months now. I have talked with quite a few men here. To be honest...98% of those men now do not talk to me because it came down to they wanted my money but wouldn't want to give me theirs. I found that very interesting and sad in a way. I wondered if that is how these men are on here, I would surely hate to see how they are in the real world.
You are right, America is not what America was. As for me and a lot of my friends who did not vote for Obama, we don't trust him and that is one of the many reasons why we didn't vote for him.
You made the commect earlier about not grasping onto the words of other men. So I am just curious if you ever quoted your parents, or a friend, or someone else?
If you still want to say everyone dies I still agree that physically we all do eventually. However, let's just look at today and today only. For today only some people will live, some will die. Just for today, God granted me one more day to live. That is love to me.
I wasn't born anything. My parents being Catholic took my sister and me to Catholic church. Stopped attending when I was a teenager...
Started attending Assembly of God (Pentecostal/nondemominational). Attended here for many years and yes I received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior then. Now I attend a baptist church.

America has long been a country where people from other countries come to live. People who are born here are a citizen of this country, yes. Being an American citizen doens't change the fact that my heritege is a mixture of where my ancestors come from. I still have Irish blood in me none the less.
