RE: One night Stands.....

hmmmm... well...

i've had a few one nighters, but only once with a complete stranger... wasnt very good... the other times it was with girls i knew.. not close friends, but girls i knew to talk to from being out, or friends of friends... they were mostly good fun and i still see some of them from time to time, and occasionally we'd joke bout how drunk we were the night we ended up with each other...

it was all mutual and good fun... but.. like i said.. the one time with a complete stranger wasnt very good...

RE: Old Fashioned Values

nope.. not shocking at all..:).. law of averages states u'll agree with me on something eventually..rolling on the floor laughing applause

and vice versa of course..cheers

RE: Old Fashioned Values

i agree completly.. thats not what i was saying at all..

all i was saying is that society today is not a fmaily driven one, but a greed driven one.. and for the longest of times men were the guilty party.. now it seems women are following suit too..

i totally understand a woman who has to work to support her family.. this is not a career driven woman, but a family orientated woman who is just looking to support her family.. and i applaud men and women who do this..

and i never said that a man who works is seen as a good father.. in fact, a man who works too much and has no time for his family is not a good father.. same goes for a woman.. a balance has to be struck on providing for your family, and showering them with money instead of love..

RE: Old Fashioned Values

good thread petal..

as much as i am definitly for old fashioned values ie. marraige not being treated in the vein of "ah sure, we'll give it a go" i think certain things like the guy paying for the meal and the drinks are a little bit outdated. Each to their own of course.

I'd even go soo far as to say, i'd be quite happy to be a house husband..

but for the main part, old fashioned values need to be brought back to life.. maybe it's just me, but in this new "equal" society, it seems as if some women, espically my generation and younger, are losing their femininity at the cost of becoming "equal".

In other words, career over family.. obviously for a some men this has always been the case, just a shame i think that some women are following suit..:(

RE: Guys why don't you fancy ladies with lots of padding?

ok.. honest answer coming..:)

i am not attracted to larger ladies.. nor am i attacted to fake tanned stick insects.. i like a bit of meat on the bones.. so a happy balance in between is good for me..

i also prefer petite ladies.. as in 5'2 area..

this is just my personal preference.. i am as unattracted to large ladies as i am to super skinny ladies.. i dont find large ladies unattractive becasue u are large..i find them unattractive because they are just not my type..

same as some ladies love tall men.. no matter how good looking or good his body is, if he is too short they just arent attractive..

and from a "scienific" point of view.. men choose women who they think will do a good job of carrying on their gene and reproducing a healthy child.. therefore most men go for women who look healthy.. ie.. not overweight, not underweight, or orange skin..laugh

genuinely confused

thanks to everyone for posting their opinions.. much appreciated..

just to clear a thing or two up..

i never mentioned anyones names.. nor did i attack anyone..i simply put a sceanrio to the forums to get peoples opinions and see what they thought..

others have also mentioned that i was looking for attention... again.. all i did was put a topic to the forum because, as the thread title says i was GENUINLEY CONFUSED.. and wanted to see what others had to say..

for those who were good enough to give their opinons (even ones i dont agree with) thank you.. this is why we have forums.. for those who decided it a good moment to make personal attacks, well.. thats is your choice..

and before i hear anyone say it. my thread was ALSO NOT a personal attack on LM.. her name was never even mentioned and i was not lookin to air my "dirty laundry". like i said, i was genuinely confused and just wanted to hear what people thought..

thanks.

genuinely confused

no anger here..:) was just wonderin what u were sayin..banana

genuinely confused

what?? its got nothin to do with how hot someone is..

genuinely confused

would it not be easier if people just said what they felt instead of assuming the other person knows exactly what they are tryin to say.. iv'e ever met a mind reader.. but i seen one on telly once..laugh

genuinely confused

it wasnt one bit misleading nuala...

genuinely confused

thedeise... we may have had a difference of opinion in the last week or so basically about hijacking threads.. and thats all it was.. a difference of opinion..

but not once have i personally attacked you on any of the threads.

personally, what u just said there, is a personal attack.. not only that, but it was a mean and nasty thing to say too..

i definitly disagree with your opinion on what has been happening here over the past week or so, but at least i repsected you somewhat for standing up for what u believe in.. but that.. what u said.. well.. that just speaks volumes for itself..

genuinely confused

now thats very good..:) thanks eco.. very very good..
although i didnt want to write here the entire flow of emails between us, she did also say when i asked her why she thought this, that "i'm an intelligent guy, i can figure it out myself"

i also think she may look in on this thread and honest to god.. i have no idea why she thinks what she thinks.. if she thinks its obvious, then its not to me.. i wasnt tryin to pick a fight by asking why she had said that.. i genuinley wanted to know why she now thinks that because i have not got the foggiest..

genuinely confused

ok here's the scenario..

I saw a lady on this site a few times.. obviously she will remain nameless.. it didnt work out, and we would still drop a mail to each other from time to time.. in other words, on relative speaking terms..

then today, i get a random mail from her saying "i used to think you were nice"

when i asked her why she thought this her reply was, "I don't believe i owe you an explanation."

so ladys and fellas.. do u think an explanation is a proper mannerly thing to do?? i mean, granted, if does not like me thats not a problem, i can't make anyone like me, but surely if someone is going to say something like that to you - completly out of the blue - then an explanation shoud follow??

or did she just say it to try and make me feel bad???

RE: GRAND PRIZE FOR 100th POSTER!!!!

RE: GRAND PRIZE FOR 100th POSTER!!!!
