One of my first away football matches watching West Ham was in Liverpool about 25 years ago. At the time i knew very little cockney rhyming slang.
I was in a takeaway when a fellow West Ham suppoter ( who i didn't know ) came in & said he needed a 'pony'. I was very worried what this food contained but needn't have worried as someone explained to me that he meant 'pony & trap' . Doesn't take a genius to work out he needed a lavatory.
You have done the right thing by posting here as genuine people will see that you are out there. Often it's just a case of becoming known before you get emails / flowers from people you may be interested in. I know for sure that not everyone on here uses the 'search' option so many prospective dates would not realise you existed but now you have posted this lots more people will see you.
This is why in my opinion every site member should post something a few times to get themselve's noticed.
