exit a cruise ship to go on a nature hike in alaska the tour guide tells the hikers that the area is heavily in habited by bears...he suggests that before they begin that each stop by the gift shop to buy where bells and pepper spray could be purchased...he went on to explain that the hikers should remain in groups...clanging their bells as a warning to the bears that they were coming so as not to startle the bears...and if they were to have a close encounter with a bear that they could sometimes be backed off with pepper spray....he went on to explain that there were both black bears and grizzly bears in the area...and that they could tell what kind of bears might be in the area by inspecting the dung often found along the trail...the way to tell the difference he went on to say was that blackbear dung normally contained things like berry seeds and occasionally squirrel or rabbit fur...where as grizzly dung contained bells and smells like pepper spray.
distraught and heart broken over the loss of her husband of 50 years decided that life was no longer worth living decides she wants to commit suicide to rejoin her husband...after contemplating for a long time she decides that since it is her heart that is broken it would be best if she shoot herself in the heart....unsure of the location...and not wanting to suffer she calls the dr and asks the exact location of the heart...without telling him of her intent....he informs her that if she were to lift her left breast slightly that the heart is located aproximately where the breast touches the body....three hours later she was admitted to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the left knee
"assume everything youve been taught up to this point in your life has been a lie...now seek the truth"
several years ago a friend of mine told me this during a dicussion on spirituality...at the time it was the single most profound thing anybody had ever said to me...since that time ive taken his advice.
i try to live my life as peaceful as possible...and try to have a positive effect on my surroundings...i tend to set my goals high...many i have been able to achieve...a few i have fallen short of but try to learn from the experience in hopes that my next attempt may have better results...there is a lesson in everything if you are open to it...im a firm believer that every thing happens for a reason and that we have the ability to guide our own destinies and can accomplish anything we truely set our minds to.
RE: Now there's a good question!
if a man is in the woods but there is no woman there to hear him...is he still wrong?
