There are too many islamic groupings that don't get along with each other. They will fight over every little difference in their believes and won't have neither time nor resources to attack anybody
You shouldn't waste your time feeling bad. There is a new man in your life and if it works out the kids will have a reliable dad in their lives. Look to the future and not back
I'm sure you did what your heart told you and therefore it can't be wrong. Your daughters were much better off without him entirely rather than having him in and our their lives at his own will. I'm sorry for the sadness it causes you.
