I reply to everybody I know, as soon as I can. Others I take my time to think about it. Sometimes then I forget or don't find them interesting enough to respond.
It's always good to have friends and a support system, but it usually depends on your own personality. I like to fight my battles of life on my own, but I know that I have good friends here that I can turn to if I need them.
Well, you are supposed to use your mail and flower facilities to make contact with other people as well. Sitting around in the forums alone doesn't get you far.
