As an Australian, we are very connected with the US, sometimes I think unfortunately. I personally think the whole world is beyond repair. Something huge, Bibically needs to happen. Like in the days of Noah, where God flooded the world, & started over. The US government supposed to be the leaders of the world, instead they send troops to other countries to kill innocent people without having conclusive evidence of anything malicious. Furthermore, they send their own fathers, sons, husbands to die for no reason to satisfy their own guilt for not admitting they have made a mistake. I am not surprised with the twin towers disaster, was that another fabricated disaster or not!!! This makes me

It’s George Bush and his policies that they hate. And for good reason!
Nothing can help the USA until Bush is out of office. Bush really is America’s #1 enemy. Isn’t that they most ironic thing in the world? Our very leader is our most destructive enemy.
Hopefully, whomever replaces him in 2008 will have a persona and policies that will once again bring America back to what it originally stood for, and in doing so will restore respect for our wonderful country.
Only time will tell. But nothing will improve until at least November 2008, and between now and then GWB will continue to destroy America. He’s NOT DONE YET! Unfortunately.

Not in my mind it doesn't belong in the politics category? I wasn't even thinking of politics. I was thinking about my country and the way we are being thought about. Not politics, truth.

Americans don't hold the record for that.
The people in Iraq itself are clearly displaying their own disgusting greed and stupidity. The reason that Iraq is falling apart so bad is not because of the USA, but because the Iraqis within the country hate each other’s guts!
It’s their inability to get together and forum a consensual government that has screwed everything up there.
Not to suggest that Bush was right to go in, in the first place. But the Iraqis have their own greedy agendas to deal with. Same with Israel and the Palestinians.
The USA doesn’t hold any special position for being idiots. The whole world is full of idiots who hate each other and can't get along!

Thing is honey; political parties of all varieties have risen in their beliefs against this war, and this President. Please, please do not hold all of us accountable for the mistakes of "him". We are speaking up against his agendas, and making steps for progress.
Many ,many of us will feel much better when we can stand up and be counted as "a people", instead of "one".

We have become damaged in a big way in a very short time.
Countries around the world and people within our own borders are embarrassed and hurt by the actions of our country. Will we survive this, and save face? Or is it too late?
