We both know that given the constraints you propose there doesn't appear to be any room at all for concessions from the Israeli perspective. Which would imply a "take what you get" and "like it" resolve for the Palestinians. How is this going to propagate a true and lasting Peace?
With that said there is no place, at all, much less in Gaza or the West Bank, for these 3.5 plus million Palestinians. What is your proposal for their fate?
But the fact remains there will be no true security untill all the Palestinians are dead and gone. And unfortunatly there will be more death and fear in Israel. And with the Palestinians gone who will be the workers, the housekeepers, the manual workers? And with respect to the people in the world who feel this is an injustice, the Peace activists, are they going to just "go away"?
We both know the temperment of the "resistance" is "when you have nothing, you have nothing to lose". So it is logical to asume that there won't be any change. And with that the six month cessation of building in the occupied territories will continue. So it is safe to assume the whole situation will continue as is. And people on both sides will continue to die. Agreed?

To resign oneself to pessimism is quite simply not an option for the Palestinians, for Israel or for the United States. And Europe? It is wrong to be angry about its absence from the negotiation table.
where does anyone who reads theses posts stand on the issue of renewed settlement expansion?
It is obvious that while Hamas is at the helm in Gaza the prospect for Peace is non-existant. Their charter of Death to Israel is unacceptable. Until there can be a change in leadership, hopefully with the next elections, should the United Nations introduce a peace keeping force to aid in stopping the rockets and thus reduce the threat to Israeli citizens?

There is always the danger that we may just do the work for the sake of the work. This is where the respect and the love and the devotion come in - that we do it to God, to Christ, and that's why we try to do it as beautifully as possible. Mother Teresa
