Thanks Ali! My friend is a little older, (71) and it is hard for her to keep up the maintenance on her home by herself, so whenever she is in need of any help I offer and always show up, unlike some of the people she's asked for help and say they will show up and don't, and so she gets frustrated and wants to move into a retirement community where all the maintenance will be taken care of by the staff.
I try to help her in any way, and she does the same for me, that's what friendship is all about in heart and spirit.
I have one great friend she is always there when I need her and I am always there when she needs a friend. I have been friends with her for over 25 years. Whenever I call or she calls and needs anything, we are there for each other as friends/kindred spirits. I' ve helped her out whenever she's in need. A few weeks ago, before Thanksgiving, she needed the leaves in her yard raked and bagged, I said all you need to do is ask, and I'll help you in any way possible. That's what friends are for etc. Friends are a help and a blessing.!
