Drider has every right to champion women's rights in France or anywhere else for that matter...However, in doing so, she must be willing to pay the consequences if she breaks a law...In Belgium, the banning of burkas is defended as a measure of security...That sounds reasonable to me...Covering one's face undermines ones identity and has nothing to do with gender equality...

Some, on the "right" of Israeli government have called for sanctions against Palestinian Authority in an effort to stop a vote, which they say would become inevitable in the future...Once there is a bid submitted, the Palestinians have NO incentive to negotiate...
