I think time is the best guide for seeing who your true friends are - in several ways.
I have met people on the internet who I have known now for a few years. Not all these people started off as friends! But as time as gone by, they have stuck around, both on this site and others, have not lost interest if I dont reply, are just there in the background.
Some kept in touch whilst drama was occuring and then disappeared...
The ones that stuck around, through the dramatic times and the hum-drum normal times are the ones I call my friends.
You dont have to be in touch every day, every week or even every month. Just so long as you know they are there..
As regards the attack on Prince Charles and his property, WRONG..
As regards students rioting because they are struggling to get funding for tuition, WRONG..
When I was still in school (Back in 10000BC), if we didnt have rich parents who would support us and let us live with them for nothing while we took our degrees, etc we had no choice but to forego that pleasure and get a job.
I never got a degree, because my parents couldnt afford to keep me for another 3 years, transport me to college and pay for all my school books. I always regretted that; not that its stopped me from progressing in life..
However, although education is always good, whats wrong with paying for your OWN tuition?
