I havent seen much on this but I do believe in Education and I also belive that the English are not very good at demonstrating. They prefer to accept what the Gov feed them rather than oppose it. Its all our futures
JSuburbia: From what I understand, the Queen signs off on everything (as a formality)
Yes, but that's a formality. She rarely opposes Parliament (the will of the people, supposedly). Just as our Governer-General (the Queen's representative)does. Merely rubber-stamping legislation.
I have seen the negative effects these ridiculous tuition fees have on students first hand. How are they supposed to concentrate on getting an education when debts and sheer survival are the biggest concerns?

That's exactly how they phrased it here on the news.

(4) Members of the British Police were critically injured.
I have a live feed from London, so I can watch this live.
The riot is about the raise in student tuition in Great Britain.
They broke out the window in Prince Charles’s car, kicked his automobile and splattered white paint on the trunk.
They smashed windows at Government buildings in downtown London.
I couldn't believe that British Horses are also helping the British Police.
