Hi, just read your post. I think it was an excuse. Maybe she got cold feet during the week and couldnt go through with actually meeting up. If you really like her, try one more time. If its a 'negstive', just leave it.

My dog was found abandoned in Ireland with a broken foot which coud not be repaired (not that anyone there tried to repair it) he was brought to UK by RSPCA. I fell completely in love with him when he walked over to me with his foot turned in and a big open sore on his foot. He held his foot up to me through the bars and let me touch it, although he must have been in pain.
His leg had to be amputated and I took him home after a few days, he did not know how to be a household pet but was so willing and loving, as I write this he is a very much adored dog spread out on my sofa after a swim and a long walk.
He goes everywhere with me and sleeps beside me every night. I thank God for bringing him into my life.
