Taken on board your comments I dont want to stereotype things but single fathers still seem to be a minority in NZ. The friends I always had tend I think im a stuck at home dad which im not. There are lots of single mums out there but being a male you tend to put yourself on the outside if you can understand that lol.
You sure its not more of a phobia you have rather than being out of the loop for so long. Your punishing yourself & your one of the lucky ones whos kids have grown up.
You are so right when u do get time out you dont know what to do with it. But I think you deserve that chance combining your kids & having a life of sorts. It would make yourself happy & your kids happier.
As a single dad with 3 kids timeout is a hard thing to come by. I myself have only been in my situation for 3 months but wow dote on my kids. Would be awsome to talk meet story swap with single mums who may feel the same as myself a little time restricted lol.
