Thank you so very much Summer. Your kindness has truly touched me. I know you are correct about "time." I also think you are correct in that he will most likely do the same thing to this other girl.
I truly pray she seeks God for discernment, wisdom, and His guidance regarding their relationship. And that she listen and do what God reveals to her. I would not want her nor anyone else to go through what I've experienced with him.

I can't believe he's done this. I truly don't understand. I've been on my face before God asking Him to show me what I did or didn't do that I shouldn't or should've done. I've asked God to touch his heart and allow us to work out together somehow... I know in my heart of hearts I'd never be able to trust or depend on this person ever again, but I guess I keep hoping somehow God would create a miracle and heal our hearts to where we were before he started cheating on me.
Ug! But again, in my heart of hearts I know I would not take him back. And I know God is not going to bring him back. Its just a bit hurtful and frustrating!

Have any of you been in what you believed was an honest true loved filled long term relationship were a few months away from getting married... The person expressed how excited to start your life together as one as husband and wife...
Then literally the next day the person informs you they think they love you more than you love them as you were late sending them a Valentine Card (your first valentines) and they sent one on time to you. So they broke up with you over it in an email...
Less than a month you find out the person is dating someone else, then less than two months you find out the person is engaged to that person... Then to realize the person whom you thought was "The One" was cheating on you the whole time!
How can you stop your heart from having feelings still for the Person who has shattered your heart and just move on??
No offense intended here, but from your post, it sounds like you rather keep things superficial and on the shallow side of things even with your own children, and surround yourself with people who are the same. Is that correct??? (I truly hope I misinterpreted what you wrote, as I'm hoping you have depth and character like I think you have.)
