I carried a retired priest home a few miles, next thing you know his hand is on my knee, saying stop the car as he wasnt feeling very well... He got his last rites from me fairly sharpish... Im mean come on, what the hell? I left him in a dust clould in my rear mirror. Freakish.
Happily I've had great encounters also. So if your on my trail, n have your thumb out .....
Having been one of the species myself and often picked up one I thought i might write a book on the subject to both bore and amuse the relations. Any stories worth sharing?
I met a guy a year and a half ago from another site. Its worked out great, he moved in today and im very happy. Just want to say thanks for your company this past while. Hope you find what fits for you.
Vinny Im quite taken aback ...that you cant remember certain parts of an womans anatomy. tut tut..
Fifi, I know a few people who's mouths could and should be stapled up and thats a grand idea...im willing to pay that tax.
and Ycullu, suck up all the oxygen you can now, as air is next on the list.. with a declining forest span across the globe you can be sure that in the future just speaking and using up oxygen will be taxed ... again an idea i could warm too with certain folk.
Ah its just a bit of craic.. I have a garden of roses from here though. And on that note thank you to all those men from kurdistan, and various Arab nations for the flowers.
Ya ShyJim, kinda reminds ya of Rosalind Franklin, joint co discoverer of the the double helix of DNA.
It was her images of X Ray chrystalography that solved the shape of DNA (double not triple helix) but her co worker Maurice Wilkins, spilled the beans to the other guys in the USA James Watson and Francis Crick and wouldnt ya know it...the three guys won the Nobel prize, while Rosalind died of ovarian cancer due to her work before the prize was awarded so she didnt share in the Nobel prize as its not awarded posthumously.
My vote goes to Jocelyn Bell Burnell, and Irish Astrophysicist born in Belfast, who was the first person to discover Pulsars - rapidly rotating stars that release bursts of radiowaves.
She is professor Burnell now but she managed to carve a brillant career for herself in the sixties in what was and kinda still is a stubbornly male dominated world of astrophysicis.
I hate new computers, you have to start a whole new relationship with a peice of equipment thats just dying to humiliate you. And your computer hotline will have some whizz kid a quater your age, is from outer mongolia and starts looking for serial numbers/codes while chewing gum and speaking in martian computer talk.
Its a leap year, so i offered to go on a date with Mr personality of the year was refused, then offered friendship was refused, then reported (apparently to CSI - nice one) even they refused to contact me so i've no idea what this thread is about really.
Can i make the case the have my banana love returned to me?
