Absolutely right m8. I should go home more often. I am actualy thinking about go home period but I have children here and they are still young so thats not gonna happen for a good few years.

That is what i was thinking and I still belive it as a plausable explanation but nobady likes to believe what they dont like. I thought I was well able to tell before hand but in both occasions was a surprise. I am over everything as in happened few weeks back.
I said the date went well. Not a wrong move. I was in a good mood so was not hard to make her laugh every second sentence. I said we should go see a movie or come my place for a cup of tea... She asked me to chose. No brainer there!

I have been recently on a date with two women i met here. On two separate ocasions of course, just few weeks apart. On both occasions everything went perfect. I mean so good I couldn't imagine any better for a first date. We exchanged phone numbers and made plans for future dates. All good. Next day I got a text that even though I was such a nice guy we couln't see each other anymore. The explanation was somthing like ,,I thought I was over someone but it proves that I'm not so I am not ready for dating,, It felt really bad especially when there is nothing you can do about it. I answered back something in the line of ''thanks for nothing'' and that was it. Twice in about a month and a half. I was begining to get worried that it might be me. Or is there?

Few good points to take, good and bad, thanks for both. About the Roma people i just have to add that there are about 3.5 mil living in Romania which has a population of 22 mil. Some of them are well educated and gave up their ways long time ago but most of them didnt. People in Romania dont think that the irish live in caravans. They think you are all ship minders I got it ! I,v grown negativist! I think thare are loads of you out there who would not date a foreign man just because they think they deserve better and they are getting loads of attention anyhow ( fair play ) and than there are those who think that i should be going out with them just because they are irish. Does any of the man out here feel like options are getting scarce more and more? And this is one which compromise will not fix. Once you have settled for less than you think you deserve your relationship is doomed!
Dealing with rejection i have no problem with if only had someone to be rejected of in the first place! I mean i dont get that far! The incident i am speaking of is long past and i am just useing it as an example to point out my predicament. Things would stand a lot different if i was back home. Unfortunately leaving is not an option as I have kidds born here. ( my ex is irish ) Not for another 10 years or so till they have grown up! Ill be fifty...way to go...romance!

I was chatting to this lady once and after a while we decidet to meet up and go for a cup of coffee. After a couple of days she canceled with no explanation sending me a blunt text message. I pushed it to the back of my head and that was it. After another couple of days i got a text message again. She was apologising saying that she was judgemental and all and asked if we can still have that cup of coffee. We met, had an quite ok time for a first date. She admitted that me being foreigner was the reason she canceled at first saying that ,,one would prefer to stick to what she knows'' I got an unexpected kiss in the end and we decided will see each other again! I have never heard of her again! So ladies, what are your thought please! Oh, and please be honest about it! At the moment i strongly believe that most of you out there would only consider dating me as a last resort! That the general idea i do get from you anyway.
