Very well said...and those guys that don't want to give us a chance based on appearance alone, are missing out on how we make up for that flaw.....well I can only speak for myself here.
That is awesome...not that you were almost injured or worse, but that your friend was there, just at the right time! I think we all have guardian angels that are watching over us.
I'm sure I've had some near misses, but I also think that I take some things for granted and I don't want to be that way. I'm working on it though. You thought about it and realized what happened and what could have happened, had it not been for your friend.
I am so sorry for your loss. Losing someone we love so dearly can seem as if we will never not feel pain. The pain will lessen with alot of time, but there will always be a void. Just grieve hun and talk about her...that is the only thing you can do at this point and it may help you to cope.
