i am seriously looking into to it kell,especially since chemical factories in shannon let of so much steam so to speack and we both know the effects of that,when all we have to do is stick our nose out the door and inhale more polutants then anywhere else in ireland.
people of a young age who have lived in shannon most of there lives inhaling these invisable killers have either developed serious asthma or other side effects like tummy bugs and major broncii epidemics all of a reacurring nature.at this stage of the game i think relocation is the best opption well at least my health is telling so.
all the court cases in the worl could not start to explain how companies of the world can break the rules on the emmissions levels aloud...cough cough splurt splurt

maybe a bit to much brain power for the members of cs but alas a serious debate on the 1 thing in life we all need to survive its called air it sirvives in the atmosphere along with other nasty inhabitants.windfarms as a natural electricity pruduction system,will it help the poor state of affairs of our atmosphere?

How about this data:from an american main powerplant,i wounder how the irish are fairing with our pruduction of said modicules.

Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is one of the primary sources of acid rain. According to the EPA website, the electrical generating plants in Minn alone released 100,000 tons of SO2 into the atmosphere in 2005. That's 200 million pounds of SO2!!

Another source of acid rain is nitrogen oxide (NO). According to the same report those same electrical generating plants emitted 84,000 tons of NO in 2005.

In addition, those same generating plants released 400 million tons of CO2 (that's the stuff that causes the greenhouse effect and global warming) into the atmosphere.

If you want to look up this data for yourself, you can find it at:

Every now and then, there are some posts that don`t belong anywhere. some are topics we already covered recently, etc. So I just set up an "Anything Goes" category. Anything that's not quite good enough to get on the homepage or removed from the home page haha will be put in here. If a topic gets traction, it can be promoted to Today's Talk status.

How to

me myself and i, sometimes feel like we are sittinging in a shop window watching the world go by,like the little puppy waiting for its rightfull owner to come on in and say how much is that doggy in the window the one with the waggely tail.or just some one to come in and say HI. All the passer byes read threads and dont pop in to say HI
so my contrabution to the world of WWW is to pop into every thread i view on cs weither i like the thread or not and just say HI.
Now its back to bed for me, silly girl got up to head to work for 6 and to late relised she was`t supposed to be there till 2pmrolling on the floor laughing
that ever happen you?doh

How to

change the world!
what would your input be to the world to make it a better place,a place where relationships are forged in stone, we all have to interact with others and have various levels of relationships throughout our lives but alas human nature some times has a cruel way of showing its negative pressence hence why there is such a thing as a sledge hammer.

Finding enlightenment through intuition and introspection.
Making an effort to attentively hear what another person is saying. might be best described as an enlightened art of using one's intuition and introspection to be fully present with another person during a conversation for the purpose of thoroughly hearing and understanding the other person's communication. hard done on the net at the best of times,but in person it is a differnt story.

And why is this so important? Because when you thoroughly listen, you create a very powerful communication dynamic that deepens your relationships and creates powerful boundaries at the same time. you have to have the ability to eliminate the potential of unnecessary conflict and to create a more powerful presence....

so what is your addition or what have you got to offer the world in general, to make it a better place for anyone within your reach and remember emotions reach futhur then you think and affect everyone within your grasp.

RE: National Anthems

20 – February 10, 1973

Ireland...18 England...9

This match was a triumph of sport over politics. The England team got a standing ovation that lasted for five minutes. Ireland won the match comprehensively by 18-9

ARE THESE THE WORDS WHICH CAUSE SUCH RIFTS BETWEEN POLITICS AND SPORT!

1. God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us;
God save the Queen!

2. O Lord our God arise,
Scatter her enemies
And make them fall;
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix,
God save us all!

3. Thy choicest gifts in store
On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign;
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen!
4. Not in this land alone,
But be God's mercies known,
From shore to shore!
Lord make the nations see,
That men should brothers be,
And form one family,
The wide world over.

5. From every latent foe,
From the assassins blow,
God save the Queen!
O'er her thine arm extend,
For Britain's sake defend,
Our mother, prince, and friend,
God save the Queen!

6. Lord grant that Marshal Wade
May by thy mighty aid
Victory bring.
May he sedition hush,
And like a torrent rush,
Rebellious Scots to crush.
God save the King!

RE: National Anthems

i myself have respect for both anthems but loyal to 1 and 1 only.

maybe some idiot should write a rugby anthem to be played at all matches accepted by all with no political jargon.

And as the day approaches, one can't help feel increasingly ill at ease at the prospect of God Save the Queen at Croke Park. Lest we forget, this is the scene of Ireland's original Bloody Sunday, when British troops exacted indiscriminate revenge for the IRA's assassinations of military intelligence and secret services officers earlier that day. Croke Park, for many, is not just the epicentre of Gaelic sport, but a shrine to the people who lost their lives that day, and throughout the war of independence. lets not put there memories to shame on the day by willfully making ourselves look like soccer houligans.mumbling
enjoy the match of sport if the irish sqaud can play there hearts out against any team that is all the irish supporters what,they want the game.
