Im a big Shamrock Rovers fan myself. Had some of the best days of life this year. Highlight was White Heart lane and fantastic few days in Belgrade. John Gill to Bohs, Bohs fans can't be happy with that rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Brekkie Meeting tomorrow in Wexico....

Sure let me know where yis are at Saturday night if its Wexford Town. A few of my pals are down from Dublin and were planning on painting the town red..

RE: airtricity league-whats the point?

I have been a Shamrock Rovers fan all my life practically, ever since the Milltown days and when they were on the verge of ceasing to exist a few years back. Some of the best memories of my life are from Milltown and now Tallaght. I travel from Wexford practically every week to watch Rovers. You are right in what your saying regarding the numbers that go to LOI matches. With the exception of Rovers who get 5-6,000 most home games other attendances are terrible. I think the FAI should take a leaf from Rovers book and market the league much more. Rovers market and advertise football around Tallaght and it has paid dividents. If the FAI were to throw on the odd TV commercial or promote the league a bit more in the papers it would boost attendances. Until then its more of the same Im afraid. But a LOI match is a great night out and always good craic.Super Hoops
