I meant it in a mischievus way, not in a "lets go to war" way. Perhaps not all of us want the hum drum of peace and tranqulitiy. Maybe I want to live a little
The fastest I have been on both a bike and my car is 165MPH as in the UK everything is restricted to this speed. Luckily they have some roads close by in Germany that there are no speed limits and some very straigh roads - yyyeeeehhhaaaa....
Yes, joking aside. Its a "feature" of most boards. It looks for the words you type and then pulls in advertising that it thinks you may be interested in....
You cant go blaming Bush, after all, he said God told him to do it... or at least the head of BP, Shell, Texaco....
My origonal point was that the American goverment armed most of the countries it is now trying to police. It is all coming back to haunt us all now Bush has made ridiculous statements about a "war on terror" but forgot to mention the fact that America was the biggest financial contributor to the IRA for 30 years!
I think people are suspicious about the motives of Bush and the American government, and wonder why he/they feel they have the right to interfere around the world. It is certainly not doing the US any favours in the popularity stakes around the world.

Sorry, I bet most of you have not idea what these programmes are !!
I was at home. I had returned from holiday the previous day and had very bad jet-lag so went to bed early evening for a nap. Anyway, I woke up after midnight and went downstairs to make a cup of tea. I put on the TV and sat reading hoping to feel tired again and go back to bed. All of a sudden a newsflash came on the TV saying she had been in an accident..... usually newsflashes come on for a minute and then tell you that they will update you at the official news time, but this one never went off..... very sad day
Wow ! I don't normally watch these talent(less) contests but he is fab. Time to say goodbye is one of my favourite opera songs, and he more than does it justice. In fact I would go as far and say that I have not heard some more established famous artists sing it to that standard
I thought you were going to discuss Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Mick McManus, Cat Weasel and Saturday afternoon Grandstand with Dickie Davies - now we really are talking old skool.....
There are places I remember All my life, though some have changed Some forever not for better Some have gone and some remain All these places had their moments With lovers and friends I still can recall Some are dead and some are living In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers there is no one compares with you And these memories lose their meaning When I think of love as something new Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life I love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life I love you more In my life I love you more
