Well, a bike you can only ride in the summer whereas a boat can be enjoyed in the summer. Hmmm, Texas doesn' t get summer so why are you pondering this?confused

You don't have to call me Darlin, darlin. If you have a nice lake or river to enjoy your boat and the time to spend in it to make it worthwhile, I'd prefer a boat. If you don't have a whole lot of time for a boat, a bike would be great too. I guess it's going to be your choice anyway. By the way, I was teasing about Texas, I wish we had your summer here.cheers

I would perfer a boat however bikes are much more affordable and easier to maintain.

You would be suprised how much money it costs to take a boat out of the weekend or even the day. Especially since the price of gas is about 50 cents more a gallon on the water than on land.

BIKE. You won't spend as much on gas and they are so much fun.

Only question I have is do you have to have a special license to drive a boat in your state. My motorcycle license was easy to get but i don't know about a license to drive a boat.

I'd buy the bike, hands down!yay

Anytime you feel like getting on it you don't have to haul it out anywhere. Just hop on and gooooo!

Do you already have a truck to tow the boat? If not, there's another added expense.

I would Buy the bike to.

But what sort of boat are we talking. Something we can park in the Marina and live on. Or is it the weekend fisherman type.

If it is something that i could live on and weigh anchor and go travelling in then you may sway me over to the boat.

D.A. says that even though he is an avid fisherman he would prefer the bike...might be because he has me to ride on the back, lol!
