It was a long distance thing, we spent countless hrs On the phone, im’s we met and spent a very long weekend In Boston, at that point I knew and here’s the but the relationship Sounded so much like my ex, he drank to much and had a bad habit Of lying, so I felt for her and did not question it after that, it was after She did move that she decided to tell me that she has no room for a Relationship in her life and she needs to deal with things on her own Only a few days prior to that we not me was making weekend plans. Before anyone brings it up I do take full responsibility knowing about Her husband at one point and I know that was selfish on my part. Ya make you bed you sleep in it…etc
Oh yes, games it seems like so many do not want games in a relationship We all play them at work and every day life, wtf? It seems like every time You open up and give 100% and let down your guard, treat that person with With respect, and trust, we get burned, too many people today are so self Absorbed, they want it all, they lack apathy unless it’s convenient, some want to Tell you about all the BS they are dealing with but they are not around for you When and if you need them…and yes I’m sure all of you know this list can go On forever and get very dark as well. I guess my point is all of us seem to think This man/women relationship is complex, it start as a game, playing hard to get How long before I call, I hear women say all the time, I don’t make the first move? What kind of arrogant crap is that, at times we hide what we feel, why, we all do it Some of us runaway as fast as we can at the first sign of work, the truth of it is in My opinion anyway, to many times we let friends and family give us a opinion Weather it be good or bad they only know 10% if that of what’s really going on Relationships are easy, we make it hard, and me personally, I’m sick of it! games it happens when both think they found someone too
I’m finding out right now a long distance relationship has it’s fair share of things to overcome just like any other relationship…for one, you cant see that person so you loses some expression when you talk…
does that mean you should run over what very well be just a misunderstanding?
It’s also VERY hard when the other person is going thro Something and you want so bad to hold them and let them Know it’s going to be fine. (makes you feel powerless)
And if that’s not bad enough you are dealing with someone You don’t really know, sure you get to learn a lot about that Person from the inside but you don’t get a chance to learn Much about what’s on the outside, like all the little things about Them, (do they do things you can or cant deal with in everyday Life)?
And all of this is just the very tip of it, sometimes when your mind It telling you something your heart don’t want to hear you have to Tell yourself, if and when we get thro all of this it has the potential To be the most solid relationship you have ever been in, it forces You to talk about thing that we sometimes think need to be “Unspoken rules” that init self can be worth a lot. Bottom line is If you invest a lot of time and some cash, and you feel a need to Part, do it…but make sure it is for the right reasons and not because You cant handle the pressure of not seeing that person anytime you Want to…
I think it’s also important to know if you do go for a long distance Relationship both parties should be ok with moving not just one Of them, to do what’s best for everyone involved.
Fear of the unknown stops a lot of us in our tracks and if I let it Stop me I would have never met Melissa and if she told me Tonight or 20 years from now that it was not going to work for her, I would have no Regrets
I have been on this site for some time now, met And dated a lot off this site, some of them good Some bad, but never a waste of time. Having been A person who never believed in love at first site Or sole mates CS just this week proved me wrong. Today my sister came over with my 3 year old niece, my niece Wanted to see my fish I thought this time might be special for Her, it was feeding time. so I got some shrimp out off The freezer and cut up some bite size morsels for my moray Eel (she’s a small one) when we went into the room with the Aquarium the eel (snowflake) was swimming around, I said To my niece, look Sydney snowflake came out to say hello to you… She ran up to the tank with a big smile all of a sudden snowflake Decided she was not going to wait for shrimp on a stick and BAM She picked out a 10 dollar fish and struck rolling around with this $10 fish in it’s mouth forcing it down her throat my niece turned Around with a look that I still cant figure out and said to me ncle wonnie wat happin? At this point in time I realize this is the first time I will have to explain something like this to a child I love as much as life it self, man this was a tuff one. the best I was able to do was to explain the cycles of life in the wild (or at least try) Considering I negotiate for a living this is the only negation I did Not want to lose at any cost…so hat off to all the parents who go Threw this kind of thing on a daily basis.
One side note, I am still pissed about the $10 lunch the eel had I took my brother out for pizza a few hours before this happened, That was only 15 bucks for two with a tip…
I have been playing drums on/off since I was a small child. I recently Got into the bass (about 6 months ago) then I got hooked and wound up With 3 basses 3 guitars and a mandolin (eBay freak) and still beating The skins….so ya I would say music is a big part of my life……Ron
I agree, But the bible also makes people think faith, many spend so much time On believing and finding the answers they think will set them free, its kinda sad That most of these people think that we will have a better life after we die if we Believe in what was written and follow it like law, and if we don’t that very same God will send us to a place of fire and pain, sound a little to extreme for me. But Also makes me wonder, this man they call Jesus was he just a man with a lot of Charisma and the people in power at the time feared and thought he was a threat To them and there power?
