THAT'S WHAT DREAMS ARE FOR


Sitting in my rocking chair getting older each day,sitting and wondering where can my dreams take me today.Will it be here or there,one only knows,but that's what dreams are for.

Sitting here dreaming not about houses so grand,fancy cars or jewelery so fine,but dreaming of the ocean and the deep blue sea,that's what dreams are for.

Just dreaming of lands so far away and all the beauty they might hold,not dreaming of money,wealth or gold,but that's what dreams are for.

Sitting and dreaming where should i go today,should I explore a land so wide and green,or the bottom of the sea in a submarine,or should I soar up above the clouds so high,no matter where or when I go,that's what dreams are for.

But today the sky is dark,cloudy and gray,so my dreams should not go to far away.I will just dream here holding on to something soft and warm,that's what dreams are for.

Dreams are for every one young and old alike,as long as one can dream the stars will always be Britte,that's what dreams are for.

Sitting and dreaming of all the places I can go and all the things I can do as long as I dream and wish for good dreams for you,that's what dreams are for.
