First of all, that elderly woman should be on Medicare for her primary insurance. I don't think that anyone would begrudge her any help. It also looks like you, her home health private duty nurse ?, is being paid by someone, or do you work for free?
Secondly, not all immigrants are welfare slugs. Most newly relocated immigrants work damn hard, and they preform jobs that you or I wouldn't do.

pretty much, it is a normal function in our family. but it is not my sisters or brother (most of which are step) my mom makes it very difficult and will exclude people and make people feel really really bad about themselves. when i get excluded, i am usually pretty happy but i will feel bad on the inside, it does hurt my feelings. by the way, i was born in St. Ignace.

no, not peed off. i just think that people try so hard to be so politically correct that it's just silly. even on here, honesty is more important than looks. if that was the case, why are so many pictures from glamour shots? or some men (and women) have pictures that are at least 10 years old. so appearance does make a difference, I think a big difference. even though people say not.
my mother was walking down the road at 16 and someone threw a pop bottle out the car window and it hit her in the mouth and she had to get full dentures at 16.
