Did you watch this on TLC? They mention the same possible explanation, yet when they tested it (not with an actual person..of course!) everything around the test dummy would ignite as well. I think it is pretty fishy, especially since no one has witnessed a SHC happen...and of course, no one has survived a SHC episode.
Actual recorded events of SHC are few are far between. They can not yet conclusively prove or disprove this abnolmoly.
I watched a study on TLC>The Learning Channel. There were many interesting photos. In some cases the fire within was assumed to be over 3,000 *F!!!!! This was based on the finding of the skull, which was shrunk to the size of a softball. This would be hotter than the temperatures achieved in a crematorium!!! Yet in the same pictures, blankets and newspapers right next to the corpse would be untouched!!!
(I realize it's Valentine's Day....a day of hugs & kisses. Yet I bring up a topic which involves people bursting into flames. Now you see how my mind works...LOL.)
Spontaneous Human Combustion
Nope, nope, nope.Im sure you could survive that. It seems like my ex did all at once and he never combusted!
